About The Journal

Alfomine is an international, peer-reviewed science journal published by Alphonsa College, Pala. The journal provides a platform for researchers, academicians, and students to publish original research papers, reviews, and short communications in various disciplines of science. Alfomine aims to promote interdisciplinary research and scientific innovation that contributes to the advancement of knowledge and sustainable development.

Scope of the Journal

The journal covers a wide range of scientific disciplines including, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Biological Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science)
  • Chemical Sciences (Organic, Inorganic, Physical, and Analytical Chemistry)
  • Physical Sciences (Physics, Material Science, Nanotechnology)
  • Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science
  • Interdisciplinary and Applied Sciences
Guidelines for Submission of Manuscript

Manuscripts should be typed in double space throughout the paper. The font used for the main body must be Times New Roman or LaTeX, size 12. Titles and subtitles should be short and can be in Times New Roman size 14 or 12.

The first page of the manuscript should contain the following information:
(i) Title of the paper
(ii) Name(s) and address(es) of the author(s)
(iii) E-mail address(es) of the authors
(iv) Abstract of not more than 50 words that summarizes the focus of the article.

The title of the paper should be centered and bold, with all content words having the first letter in uppercase. The name and email of author(s) should be left-aligned. Abstract and keywords should be centered.

Tables, figures, and other illustrations should appear near or after they are referred to in the text. They must be numbered in sequence and accompanied by a short description.

Acknowledgements and information on funding agencies should be provided at the end of the paper before the References section.

Footnotes should be kept to a minimum and must be numbered. They should appear only at the end of the paper, after References.

The manuscript should be limited to a maximum of 3,500 words.
