Consultancy

A diet-counseling center is functioning in the department that provides guidance on health-related problems to the staff, students and the public. The objectives are:

  • To educate the patients regarding the nature of disease, its hazards and how it can be recognized and prevented.
  • To give advice on personal hygiene, individual instructions on diet and any specific therapies are essential.
  • To give advice regarding the importance of exercise in a healthy lifestyle. Exercise, with a well-balanced diet, is one of the main contributors to health, wellness, and emotional stability.

The diet counseling center make use of booklets, diet sheets, charts, food models etc to help the patients to develop meal plans etc. The details of the patients visiting the diet counseling center is kept on a register.
