Eligibility Criteria

For B.Sc.

  • Plus two with any four of the following Subjects:                  Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Home Science.

For M.Sc.

  • The applicant must have a B.Sc degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks with any of the following as the main subject – Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, Food service Management and Dietetics, Food Science and Quality Control, Food Technology and Home Science. Graduates with PG Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics are also eligible.
  • Degree holders of Nursing, Zoology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Biotechnology and Biochemistry are also eligible.

Objectives
  • To impart knowledge and develop capacities of the students in the area of Clinical Nutrition.
  • To develop students to become health care professionals for services in various fields of Clinical nutrition such as hospitals., academics, research, food industry and community service. 
  • To develop capacities and abilities and enable them to pursue higher    education and research in Clinical Nutrition and Food Science.
  • To become successful dietitians with a humane approach.
